why does an edgar cayce violet ray device work for so many mental problems? So, I think I have a hemorrhoid.I'm actually leaving on a trip to Washington D.C.for the National Young Leaders program in about a week and a half.It's not like the pain is unbearable [it's certainly not the worst I've ever had], but the flight's five hours and I don't want to be in a certain amount of uncomfort the whole time.Can you imagine? Hemorrhoids and terrible treatment by the doctors and surgeons! I just want them removed!? WHATS A GOOD TREATMENT FOR POSTPARTUM HEMORRHOIDS? My father ( 49 yrs old) was diagnosed with Hepatitis C at least five years ago, maybe more and also told that his liver was enlarged.He quit drinking about 3 or 4 years ago.He was a very heavy drinker and drug abuser.Last year he had x-rays done that showed that his liver had lesions (about 6?) and that his liver was enlarged ( I have no idea if it was the same as when he was first treated or if the swelling had increased) He seemed to be sorta okay healthwise for the last few years except for chronic hemorrhoids, very dry looking pale skin and excessive lip smacking (don't know what that is about..) Over the last few weeks he has been extremely fatigued, having sharp pains in his right abdomen every few minutes and last week we noticed that his eyes are VERY yellow..His tongue is very white..Is that a symptom of Hep C or something else? He has some emphysema and I suspect COPD...Is this disease fatal? I mean, I know it can cause liver failure, liver sclerosis, hepatomegaly, etc..What I dont know is how far advanced his case is.He is not too fond of medical help...I am trying to convince him to see a doctor....If you have an educated opinion on this disease, please give me some advice/ answers.Is he dying??? My father has Hep C., yellow eyes, bloating etc..Refusing treatment? I developed hemorrhoids during and after pregnancy and have tried various creams over the past 14 months.I also had a fissure a while ago which the doctor examined and said wasnt too bad and would clear on its own.I have been getting quite a lot of bleeding and sometimes pain but not all the time.I recently went back to the doctor and was examined.She could not find anything wrong and so came to the conclusion it must be internal hemorrhoids.I used suppositories for a week and the bleeding stopped.Its now a week later and the bleeding has started again.The only pain I get is when I have a bowel movement and it feels "scratchy".I have left a message for the doctor who said she will refer me for investigation.Anyone else been in this situation? What investigations will need to be done? What treatments can be used if I have already tried creams and suppositories? Sorry for the gross question!
