One of my freshwater fish looks like he has hemorrhoids. There is a long white strand protruding from his anus. This happened once before, and I put "parasite clear" in the water. That cleared it up, but now about a month later he has it again. I did the same treatment, but it didn't work. Not hemorrhoids, it's most likely just poop your seeing. White poop can be a sign of constipation, internal parasites, or internal bacterial infection. First what I would do is try to treat for constipation and see if that helps. Feed a pea split open for 3 days, nothing else. Then incorporate a pea into it's feeding schedule, at least once or twice a week. Also, vary up the diet during the week as well. Feed different foods, frozen/thawed out bloodworms, brine shrimp, spirulina flakes, veggie crisps, shrimp pellets, algae wafers, if it's a larger fish-cut up beefheart, cut up pieces of shrimp, fish fillets, crab meat, tuna, etc.If the pea doesn't help, and it still comes out white colored, then I would go to a medicated food. Since it's nearly impossible to tell the difference between internal parasites or bacteria, I would feed both of those types of food for a week. Jungle Labs made both an antiparasite and antibacterial food, not sure if they still do. Think it was about 4.00 for each one. Or, you could make your own. Soak some food(I like to use frozen bloodworms) in a bowl with a small amount of tank water and the meds. I use tetracycline for the antibiotic and some praziquantel and/or metronidazole for the parasites.Good luck!.

Okay so Ive been feeling weird sitting down sometimes almost like Maybe there was an accident Or something,and then I would check constantly and there was nothing there, Nothing in my pants, And just thought I was imagining and felt itch butt... Sorry tmi... well i took a mirror, and I have at least one hemorrhoid its coming out of my anus.... Im really embarrassed, And Im only 25 weeks & 4 days. Ive read you can get pregnancy hemorrhoids and Or from child birth or before. Ive never had any before hand I had once before fissures which were just little cuts that i was given hemorrhoid cream for and they went away. It is painful when i go the bathroom And I just thought It was because my foods being digested more slowly for the baby. Ive missed my doctors appointment because im at my parents house, and in the middle of moving and having to switch doctors so I wont be able too see a doctor for about a month. And was just wondering has anyone had this, and what are the treatments available, During pregnancy and afterwards??? Especially if it wont go away... I read it can clear itself up. But Ive had every crappy symptom that comes with pregnancy so far so im really not thinking its going to go away on its own especially not after giving birth since this is my first baby. Please any advise from mothers that have had this or know what the options are. Prunes. Buy a big container of prunes. Everyone makes fun and says they are gross and for old people, but they are really not bad. They taste like giant raisins! I ate the things like candy when I was pregnant cuz I didn't want to get them either! If you can't eat them plain, then bake them into some bran muffins. That way, you can dice them up and they will be mixed with some great fiber to help you even more. I got them with my youngest a couple of times, but the prunes always helped me not to have them anymore. Also, drink a whole lot more than you are now. Keep a big cup with you all the time. Keep it filled with something icy and yummy like lemonade, or virgin margaritas. That way, you are tempted all day long to drink more. The tucks pads were a godsend to me when I got them too! I would put on a maxi pad, then put a tucks pad on top of it in the back, and wear it for a while. Sweet relief!

Does hydrotopic cream ingredients hydrocortisone 1 ww help with external hemorrhoids? home treatments?

I have external hemorrhoids and they are there for already 4 days. I found this Hydrotopic cream which is made of Hydrocortisone 1% w/w . I've seen that Hydrocortisone can help in Hemorrhoids. But this hydrotopic cream that I have wasnt bought for treating Hemorrhoids though. It was used for the face before. Can I apply this ? Will it help or will it make it worse?And I've heard that hot sit baths can help, are there any other ways to remove external hemorrhoids from treatment at home?

Use a proper hemmorhoid cream, such as Preparation H or Anusol. Sitz baths help---several per day. Ice also helps the swelling go down a lot---put an ice cube in a plastic bag, then in a towel. Ice for 10 min at a time, several times per day. If you can take one full day off work/school to do these things, plus to lie down as much as possible, you can dramatically improve the hemorrhoid.

Hemorrhoidal ointment has mineral oil, petrolatum, phenylephrine, shark liver oil, beeswax, benzoic acid, BHA, corn oil, glycerin, lanolin, lanolin alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben, thyme oil, tocopherol and water in it. Does the stuff you found have all these ingredients?? I don't think it does, the only thing that cream you have will prevent itching. It wont take care of the hemorrhoids, and they will get worse...and who wants to have them surgically removed!
