I can so relate to your problem as threw the years I have suffered with hemroids. I had at age 40 hemroids so bad I had to have an operation, which believe me is the worst operation I ever had in my life. When you notice that this is happening use ( now don't laugh ) Vicks vapor rub works the faster . the important thing to remember is not to get the vicks near any private areas as it will burn bad. the first few times you use it, it will burn slightly. But the relief is almost instant. And helps the swelling go down. I have never had problems since. When i notice they are getting irratated, i instantly apply the vicks. And walla!!! it and I have tried it with a gel and have found it to shrink eye bags really well if I haven't had enough sleep. As of two days ago, I now have internal hemorrhoids with no symptoms others than protrusion when I "squeeze" (for lack of a better term).No bleeding, no discoloration, etc...Actually, no discomfort at all, until I try to use the bathroom...I was reading that "rue oil" may be effective at reducing the size?
