My hemorrhoids won't go away!!?
I had a baby 3 months ago, and for a while afterwards every BM I had was extremely painful. It was like I had thousands of shards of broken glass in my stools.I eat pretty dang healthy (only have meat three times a week, lots of fiber and water, tons of different colored fruits and veggies, I get pizza on Fridays but that's about the only real vice, and I know it's not a protein issue because I get lots of vegetarian protein from seafood and certain plants and grains), and it slowly got better but never entirely went away. Now it hurts moderately, even though my stools are a really ideal texture, and I am constantly itchy and sore down there. It stings a ton when I urinate, as the urine drips down there, and I use a squirt bottle with warm water to clean myself afterwards, and that stings like crazy, too! I had my boyfriend take a look, and he says there's a little white "loop of skin" towards the top of my anus (What he meant by "loop" is it's a half-circle shape, it doesn't actually disconnect from the rest of my skin at any part), but other than that everything looks as normal as he can tell. From what I know about hemorrhoids, they're usually a purple-ish color, and if they're painful then they're visible, and they usually look kind of like tiny grapes or cushions. This doesn't seem like it looks like hemorrhoids. There's a ton of bright red blood whenever I have a BM too, to the point where whenever I wipe all I can see is blood, and sometimes I have to wipe several times to get it all.I'm fairly certain I don't need to change my diet, and I've never had anything like this before (when my diet was poor a few years ago, I had IBS symptoms, but they went away when I got pregnant and did a complete dietary overhaul), and I have been doing all the typical hemorrhoids treatments like the squirt bottle and sitting in a bath...any suggestions as to what else it might be, and how I can get rid of it, would be awesome, thank you!

Is it hemorrhoids or something else?
First of all i want to point out that I am a young straight male who is a virgin and I do not put anything into my anus.I know some immature people are going to leave some rude comments if I don't make this clear.About three months ago I had a colonscopy and the doctor found that my colon has no problem other than a very small internal hemorrhoid.About half a month after that when I was in bathroom I past some rock-hard stools and i felt like there was a cut on my anus and it hurted as hell, then a few drop of blood dripped down to the toilet. From then on everytime when I walk or run for a while my anus will feel irritated, not painful, just some very uncomfortable feeling; in addition, from then on about every two week i would notice blood on my stool and toilet paper, but most of the time it's not painful at all.And the blood is sometimes birhgt red and somtimes its a little bit darker, but not very dark.I am guessing it is because I have not fully recovered from the fissure, but one thing that confuses me is that now when I see blood on my stool I wont feel any pain, cause I know fissure is supposed to be painful everytime when passing stools.I am wondering if the uncomfortable feeling I get when walking/jogging and the blood is due to the fissure that I had or the hemorrhoid? Please tell me what you think If you or somebody you know have or had similar problem. Thanks in advance.I did think about going back to the doctor but I want to see if I can solve this problem myself first.I read online that fissure takes a long time to heal and suggested treatment includes warm bath, stool softener and fiber, I am afraid that when i go to the doctor he will just tell me to do the same thing, I am a poor student and can't afford high health care cost!

does this sound like anal fissure or internal hemorrhoid symptoms?
I normally have a bowel movement once or twice each day.I recently traveled out of state for 4 days and I only went once..and it was extremely hard and a little painful. It has been 4 days since then and I still haven't had a movement.I get the urge to go but when I try it's extremely painful..I shake, sweat and get painful spasms in my anus, which causes me to stop.I have taken Dulcolax stool softeners but it is still quite hard.Is there anyway to ease this pain or should I go to the doctor for help.Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I am very scared right now...Thanks to everyone who has responded.I was told try lubricating a finger to try and break up the stool but it hurt as if something was swollen or torn.I am a little afraid to try the enema..

Impacted stool with anal fissure (or hemorrhoid, not sure).Doctor or home treatment?
I am only 14 and I have never, ever had hemorrhoids.About maybe 6 days ago I noticed a small pea-sized lump around my anus whole but it cause no pain and it did not itch, it was like it was not there. But, I had no idea what the heck it was, so being a stupid kid I pushed and picked at it.Then about 4 days later I now notice that all around my anus whole is swollen in like a purplish color.I know that these are external hemorrhoids.I have not told my mom as this is extremely embarrassing and I can never get her along.I have never had hemorrhoids before also so this is all new to me.They have caused no pain or discomfort whatsoever but I only know they're present from looking.I guess they're called external hemorrhoid piles. But I am now thinking that maybe this is normal...is it normal for you're anus hole to not be smooth and to be raised and stuff when it opens? Sorry if this is gross but please help me, I'm worried.I have heard of Hemclear and I want to buy it but it's very expensive.I am looking for a permanent treatment as I am 14 and should not have to be dealing with this.I have been drinking more water and adding more fiber to my diet but I want a permanent solution.**No surgery though!**Please help and thanks for reading.

WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT THESE HEMORRHOIDS?
I was assigned to translate this segment of the novel in English, but there was this unfamiliar medical terminology and I didn't really knew how to put it correctly...I need some help to shape it all up..please help me convert this part into more literal language because I've done it very poorly..and last time there was this confusion about "Georgia", which is not a state in USA, in my case it's a country in EU.so here goes the segment I'm working on:By the way (and this is where Mr.Mukharashvili and his daughter-like assistent Maya Karaback are exchanging satisfied glances), the process to diagnose the condition and grade of Hemorrhoids is not at all painful, if you are being inspected by the professional coloproctologist.Basically, hemorrhoids is developing in people with innate weakness of rectum, but in Georgia there are certain terms that conduce the development of this disease, which are: overweight, transitional disorder of interstines, drinking too much alcohol, eating mutton and pork with spicy food.On the initial stages of hemorrhoids it’s possible to achieve the desired result with a small-infestation treatment, but the last grade of disease requires the surgery. So the operation method which could eventually defeat hemorrhoids was elaborated in Georgia, and this is where Mr.Gela Mukharashvili hemmed and made a serious offer to Ms.Jane Fonda, which said that if she ever were to come to Georgia once more, and if she would still be bothered by the problems of this sort, he would gladly help her with an operation. Her only response was, that if she could find a way to get out of this country immediately she’d never come back again. And she said it with such a confidence that Gela Charkviani [the translator] did not even translate it to his compatriots.

I need a literary help please....?
Three weeks ago, I went to the gynecologist and she told that I had a hemorrhoid. She prescribed me suppositories to take for two weeks, because I think it's an internal hemorrhoid. At first, putting the suppositories in didn't hurt at all and I had no pain down there, but towards the end of the treatment, it begin to hurt really badly when I put them in.I finished the treatment last week and I still have that pain.I feels as if there is a sharp object in there.Does anybody have any idea why this is happening or what I should do about it? Should I make another appointment with my gynecologist or go to my general doctor?

Still have pain after hemorrhoid treatment?
Hi all, About a week ago I noticed that I have a medium sized, external hemorrhoid down there. At first I had no idea what it was, but after researching I can say pretty confidently that it's a hemorrhoid. It's not very painful, and it responds well to treatment with Preparation H.Unfortunately after a week it seems to be only a little smaller, and I'm starting to worry that it's not going to go away.Seeing a doctor isn't really an option due to financial concerns, but if I absolutely have to, I will. Will time take care of this for me? Thanks very much for any help!

I have a hemorrhoid and it won't go away.Should I be concerned?
Ok, this is a serious issue, mature responses only.I'm a 22 year old female who has suffered from occasional episodes of hemorrhoids for about two years. In the past year, it has happen over 3 times, and it's becoming a nuisance and embarrassment because I am sexually active.I've tried all OTC ointments, wipes, eating more fiber, sitz baths, with little results.I just want it to go away.So I scheduled an appointment with a gastroenterologist.I don't know if I'm wasting my time though, because my ideal treatment would be laser or some sort of immediate removal, and that's only the case with severe situations.Mine is only mild, but it persists for weeks and I just can't take it anymore. So my question is, what should I expect from this visit? I'm sure the doctor will take a look at it, but is the first visit always just a consultation? I'm leaving a week later for vacation, I want him to take care of this thing now!!!!

What to expect when visiting a doctor for hemorrhoids?
I've had it for almost a year now and I'm starting to get really annoyed by it.I never really had a problem until now but it itches like hell every second of the day, I have bloody bowel movements, but it doesn't hurt much unless it's touched.I've tried witch hazel and vaseline, different hemorrhoid creams, and every home remedy on the internet.Nothing works.I really don't want to go to a doctor because I can't stand the idea of having someone analyze my butt. All of the symtoms seem like a hemorrhoid but it looks like a swollen vein (which I understand is what hemorrhoid is) it's doughnut shaped and stings when it's touched and the rest of the sphinctor is hard, swollen, and has a purple-ish tint.I just don't know if it's a hemorrhoid because most pictures of hemorrhoids are like round pollyps.I don't know :/ should I suck it up and see a doctor or is there a treatment I haven't tried?( I've tried the Sitz bath, an assortment of creams, the witch hazel thing, eating more fiber, fruits, and water, and countless other things that fail to have an effect )

Is it a hemorrhoid? I know it's gross but I want a serious answer?
I have several troubling health conditions that have been brought on by the conventional treatment of bipolar disorder.I resisted meds for awhile, but when everything fell apart I felt I had no option but to comply with my psychiatrist. The meds are the culprit for sugar cravings the way someone trying to quit smoking craves a smoke. They have also resulted in acid reflux, for which I am on medication, and hemorrhoids for which I am also on a prescription. These conditions then limit what I can eat to the point that I am not sure how to cook anymore--no more onions, garlic, tomatoes, black tea, dairy, and I really don't know how to make a delicious meal with out onions and garlic.I am so fed up with all the things I can't eat that I am considering becoming a raw vegan. But I also realize that the body goes into a detox mode, and I wonder if that would end up increasing the level of meds in my blood stream.Unfortunately right now it's not an option to go off the meds because I'm not really in what you could call a stable state. So what I want to know is if going raw vegan cold turkey would totally f*ck me up.I want people who are vegan and raw vegan to answer. My gp and psychiatrist are way too mainstream and would totally dismiss me.
