Lasik Procedure in laser Eye Centers

If you want to depend less on contact lenses or glasses then you must visit laser eye centers. They perform procedures such as Lasik eye surgery, short for Laser Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis, on patients with eye problems. The whole procedure involves using a laser beam on the eye that doesn't have 20/20 vision. The process takes shorter than a minute per eye and there is not a long recovery period (only a day). The short surgical procedure is painless and you will be able to get back to your daily routine in not time.
Protocols of  laser eye centers

Most laser eye centers follow the same protocol when doing the Lasik procedure. This is:

1.    The medical professional will use a device known as microkeratome to glide across the first top two layers of the cornea. A flap is created that resembles a hinge.
2.    The medical professional will now have complete access to the third layer scientifically known as the stoma of the cornea. The laser will then change the shape of the cornea by the simple effect that it has on the third layer.
