Back pain and related diseases

Today, with people getting busier each day, one finds it very difficult to take proper care of his/her health. The erratic sleeping and food habits of people make it almost impossible for them to pay attention on their minor health problems. But sometimes, these minor problems show significant effect on your health. So, it is always advisable to get yourself checked with the doctor in regular intervals. Many of the diseases do not show dominant symptoms. You will not be able to recognize the symptoms until the disease reaches the later stages. Back pain is one such health problem which most people neglect in the early stages.

These days, you find people of all age groups suffering from this intolerable health problem. Youngsters, middle-aged people and old people face this problem due to various reasons. When it comes to youngsters, it is the erratic sitting and sleeping postures which cause this problem. The severity of the problem differs from person to person. The curing process greatly depends on the individual's body constitution. Lower back pain is commonly seen in women, usually, pregnant women. There are also other factors like stress which directly or indirectly affect this problem. Many studies have proved that stressed out people are more vulnerable to spine related problems.

However, though there are many ways to cure the back pain, it is always advisable to treat your spine in natural ways. You will rarely find cases where surgeries are done. There are several other diseases related to back pain. Bulging disc is one such serious problem. Though there are no particular reasons for the occurrence of this disease, this is considered to be one of the most serious spine related problems. One may notice this problem suddenly. You may get affected while doing normal activities like turning back, sneezing, bending down, heavy lifting etc. So, this disease actually has no specific reason.

But there are natural ways to cure this problem. With simple exercises, one can witness effective results in less time. Apart from the regular physical exercises, one should be quite conscious about their postures. Erratic sitting or sleeping postures will increase the problem. Especially, working people need to be more careful. Working for long continuous hours on system can intensify the problem. As you cannot avoid working on system, it is advisable to take breaks in regular intervals.

Sciatica is another problem which is related to both spine and nervous system. The main symptoms of this disease are pain in the lower back and a pulling muscle ache in your leg. People with this disease find it difficult to sit or stand for more time. Depending on the severity of the problem, one may find it difficult to sit or stand for even more than ten minutes. Delay in the diagnosis or treatment could lead to failure of function in the affected leg or foot. So, it is always advisable to consult a neurologist as soon as you notice any such symptoms.
