Symptoms of Indigestion Discomfort, Prevention and Treatment

Indigestion Group associated with gastrointestinal discomfort excessive consumption of foods high in fat, spicy condiments, lack of stomach acid (for the trial of the diet) and inadequate chewing during meals. Among these ailments are dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting, regurgitation, sensation of a lump in the throat (called a "balloon") and bad breath halitosis. Therefore, the stomach fails to complete the process by which food transforms into chemicals so that their nutrients can be utilized by the body (digestion).

Indigestion Discomfort
Dyspepsia
Pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen or chest, regularly described as a sensation of having gas, fullness, or burning in the stomach and throat.

Nausea and Vomiting
Nausea is an unpleasant discomfort in the throat that often ends with vomiting, which is the forceful expulsion of gastric contents through the mouth.

Regurgitation
Removal of food from the stomach into the esophagus or mouth without nausea or violent muscle contractions.

Feeling Globe
Feeling like a lump in the throat (which does not exist) similar to flushing that sometimes is triggered by fear, anxiety, anger, and happiness or eating very quickly.

Halitosis
Unpleasant odor of breath.

Causes
    * Excessive consumption of fatty foods, spicy seasonings.
    * Eat lots of food.
    * Lactose intolerance (inability to digest a sugar in milk products).
    * Frequent intake of alcohol and caffeine.
    * Shortage of stomach acid.
    * Smoking.
    * Anxiety.
    * Stress.
    * Administration of medications that irritate the stomach lining.
    * Do not chew food thoroughly, as this prevents an enzyme contained in saliva (ptyalin) acts on them to make them easier to swallow toothpaste.
    * Wearing tight clothing that presses the abdominal region.
