How to combat the crack without hypocrisy

Walking the streets of Sao Paulo in the eyes behind some of the many glaring problems of our society. Located on Avenida Liberdade at eight o'clock at night, apparently with a girl 14 years asked me a cigarette with it, the two girls and three boys aged smoked like crack peacefully shortly after sunset.

It is safe to say that this is no alternative. Not all homeless people are crack users, and not all crack users live in the street. When we speak of a lack of perspective rather than an alternative, then yes we contemplate the whole of society and we can discuss the problem in its entirety. There is hunger, poverty or trafficking the real responsible for this epidemic, but the lack of vision of an alternative to this reality.

I met an addict crack addict who claimed she was in jail. He was jailed for eight years for robbery. For Rousseau, man is essentially good and that goodness corrupts history. For those who have no prospect of changing their own misery, stealing becomes one of the alternatives - even morally wrong, but at this point, morality itself does not matter much. The misery does not care about morals. For society, the immoral needs to be segregated, and there is formed a society apart from society.
