basically i have this small white lump on anus, and when i have a bowel movement, i recently have been like bleeding when i wipe, and on the end of the actual feices (excuse spelling) sorry about the detailand recently been in a lot of pain :(in the cupboard though i found this cream called Preparation H, for haemorrhoids, it says effective releif, does that mean the lump thing will go away? sorry im clueless lol, i was looking up hemmorhoids and its so confusing, anyway i'd rather NOT tell my parents or go to the Doctors, so will this cream do the trick? or can i go to a chemist and buy treatment myself? any help please? thanks! :)

hi there...i'm 22, and when i was 21 i think i got an external hemorrhoid.not to sound nasty, but i was constipated for a while and then got bouts of diarrhea.the hemorrhoid, for the most part, stays inside but you can feel it like a lump right around my rectum.when i strain all the tissues around my rectum become inflamed and sort of come out a bit while i am going to the bathroom.this is for the med community out there --- do you think this may be serious because i am younger? do i have to go to a doctor (i've read online there is no cure, and to just treat symptoms)...and if so, what sort of doctor should i go to? are there any pretty good treatments besides preparation h? also, the hemorrhoid does not bother me at all...not itching, burning, etc.it is not even discolored, it just looks pink like the rest of the tissue.i am 22, 5'5" and weigh 140 and eat healthy regularly.

Hi, I took my dog (black lab) to the vet with a very itchy bottom, she was constantly licking it and dragging it along the floor.I noticed a small pea sized swelling which was exactly like hemorrhoids.I made an appointment with the vet but on the day I took her the swelling had gone down.He told me her problem was her anal glands( which when he emptied were not even full) and when I said I thought she had hemorrhoids he poo pooed me and insisted dogs dont get hemorrhoids.(He also did a rectal exam with his finger and said she was fine).I took her home, the poor things itching had not improved and a few days later the pea sized hemorrhoid had returned.After looking this up I now know dogs DO get hemorrhoids and I am very annoyed with my vet.I am interested to know has anyone else had a similar experience with their vet and can I use a human treatment such as preparation H on her? Thank you.

Other than preparation H what are some good at home treatments for hemorrhoids?
I have suspected I've had IBS for over year.I've talked about this with my OB/GYN and I plan to see her again this coming week.Anyway, I just had an upset stomach episode which is common with IBS.I had a lot of cramping, pain in the stomach and well you get the idea.Anyway, after wiping myself I saw some blood.I know it is from hemorrhoids since I've had them since my first child.I have seen blood before but this time it was kind of dripping some into the pot.I used a Preparation H suppository like I have in the past which always helps.But after reading some online about this a lot of sites suggested using ICE to help shrink the bleeding hemorrhoid or sitting in a warm bath.I am wondering about the ice though.How would you apply that? lol & yes I will see a Dr.this coming week about this.Link to treatment page:http://www.uspharmacist.com/oldformat.asp? url=newlook/files/feat/acf2f25.htm

Embarrassingly, I currently have an external hemorrhoid that has been out for about a week now.I've never had children & not sure why I began hvng them period.They started when I was 15 years old or so.But would only pop out every once in a while & go back in & were always small.Only a few times, in my entire life, have I had a large one pop out & stay out a while.This one is about the size of a marble & will have been out a week 2morrow.It hurts & I need something done about it.It doesn't itch or bleed.It's just there, aching.When I stand up, it feels like a little weight, I can feel it weighing down.I've tried those "medicated wipes" & generic "Preparation H".I thought it was shrinking a few days ago, but it just got bigger.Whats the longest 1 can stay out b4 shrinking? R there any good home remedies or OTC things I cld try.This is hurting.I have 2 go bk 2 wrk 2morrw & can't take this anymore.I don't have health insurance, so I cnt c a doctor
