Have there been any new advances for treatment andor removal of rectal hemorrhoids?

Ralston

Had them removed a number of years ago with a scalpel and it was a very unpleasant aftermath. It was a good thing my heart was in good health. With all the new techniques and technology I am thinking that a method using a laser, or such, has been developed and in use. Know of such new procedures? Would appreciate receiving knowledge of that nature.

Hemorrhoids love to return!!!There is laser surgery available and is less painful that the “classic surgery”, but the period after the surgery is still unpleasant during bowel movement. If you’re not already at so advanced point of hemorrhoids that only a surgery can help, I suggest you try Rue Care Oil. It helped prevent having the surgery.I also suggest you analyze, why you have hemorrhoids. Is it from hard stool -constipation, genetic predisposition, overweight, pregnancy…Treat constipation, lose weight, increase daily exercise…

I have friend that talked to her doctor about the new laser method. She said it would cost $5000 but that it was an outpatient procedure and that she could be sitting with little discomfort the same day. I would check that out.

Lasers are the method of choice these days.

If you are in India, there a technique called Kshar Sutra is available. The technique is from ayurveda, a 5000 year old medicine system. a medicated thread is tied up to hemorrhoid, and in a few days the hemorrhoid gets cut by itself, not a single drop of blood gets lost. thanks to the medicated thread. No pains, no invasion.

Some have been sent back to Africa, but far too many still infest our inner-cities. ;-)

I had mine banded and after the bands fell off, no more problems. Hope this helps.
