How was it discovered that sharks liver oil is a good treatment for haemorrhoids piles?

On April 1, 1932, Dr. Adolphus Hanky was studying the flavor of various organs of fish. Dr. Hanky caught a great white shark, and proceeded to have a large feast of all the animals organs with his friends and family on super bowl sunday.During the game, a close friend named Boris Doofalotus are the enire shark liver raw. Boris happened to have a serious case of homorrhoids. A few days later, Boris commented to Dr. Hanky that his hemorrhoids were seriously diminished.Dr. Hanky began expriraments, and found that the hemorrhoidal alleviation was due to oils in the shark liver.

The scientists were drawn to this as an option when they discovered there are no sharks with haemorrhoids!.They looked up a lot of shark's rear ends before coming to this amazing discovery.

I think it was discovered after scientists found out that Omega-3 is good for joints etc. i'm no scientists, so i'm just telling the story here.. but i suspect that if the shark liver has filtered all the oil from fish it eats into its liver, then there must be high potency of Omega-3 oils in there..Omega-3 is somewhat of a lubricant (good if ya mum has painful joints etc - seriously does the trick) .. so one would expect it to also soften up ya sh!t :-) There was a docter yonks ago that proved this theory by eating nothing but fish and seal meat every meal for 3 months.. in an effort to find out why Eskimo's never had heart attacks. He found out that all the fish products thins the blood and reduces clotting in the heart etc. He did this by making a small cut in his arm everyday, and found that over the 3 months it took longer and longer for the blood to clot Hope this helps!
