My friends has ...one of those.She said never to tell anyone, because she is scared of telling the docter.she is only 12.She asked me cause i one year older then her and i was her mature-est. (lol) friend.She wants to know if theres any over the counter treatments at the pharmecy like lotations or something like that.She said it was a external one, so it had no affect on her insides,but she wants to know how it got there.and how to get rid of it. without embarrssing herself.

She should really see a doctor.That way it will be treated and she wont have to worry about it. im glad ur trying to help ur friend.

She can use Preparation H and Tucks wipes to help with the discomfort. Hemorhoids are enlarged painful veins in rectum and can be caused by being constantly constipated, also lots of pregnant women get it. Your friend's best bet would be to get over the embarrasment and talk to a doctor so she does not have to suffer. Believe me, doctors have heard (and seen) it all.

Your friend needs to go to her doctor because what she has may not be hemorrhoids but something else entirely, only her dr. will be able to ascertain that. I hate to tell you, but if it is hemorrhoids they do not go away by themselves but you can make them more comfortable by using Preparation H cream or suppositories. Please encourage her to go see the dr. because a real friend who cares about their friends want what is best for them.

A hemmoroid is a swollen vein in the rectum, often pregnant women or people who sit alot get them.They can also come from "straining" during defecation. A 12 year old should probably see a doctor to make sure it is a hemmoroid!!! She may have an undiagnosed illness. Please tell your friend to talk to her mother about this so that she can be checked out!!

She needs to tell her mom and dad, and they should take her to the doctor, as soon as possible. It could be a sign of something more serious. In the mean time, tell her to get some Preperation H and Tucks pads....she should also sit in a tub of water with the water as hot as she can stand. Sometimes just the hot water on it, will shrink it back up inside her.
