Is it hemorrhoids or sometihng else?

Magalia

about a month back i felt it but it vanished in two days. but recently i had upset stomach and had to use toilet for more than thrice a day for 2 to 3 days now. although my stool is not watery and i do not have to push hard, i noticed after passing stool there is small pain in the tail (i dunno know how to describe) its behind anus and where the spinal cord ends. when i checked it in the mirror i saw the skin is torn about an inch lengthwise. i'ven't checked bleeding in the toilet but anus doesn't pain. due to the pain in the tail area i can't sit now. and now that i have a doubt that it could be piles, i'm getting worried more. pls suggest what is it. is it hemorrhoids or something else. if yes, what is the treatment for it. which specialist doc should i visit for this. my father had the problem of hemorrhoids and he even used to see blood in the stool.i'm confused and worried. pls answer.

i think you got hemorrhoids get some pads for it at walmarts

It could also be an anal fissure. An anal fissure is a tear in the lining of the lower rectum (anus) that causes pain during bowel movements. It is a common condition. Anal fissures do not lead to more serious conditions such as colon cancer. I had them a couple months back and thought i was going to die. Check out WebMd it will help you with treatment.

Could you provide a little more detail? How would you describe the pain? Dull, Stabbing, Burning, etc etc. Have you noticed any blood in the toilet or in your undergarments, and if so what color was it? Bright, Dark, Black, etc?Is the pain constant, does it come and go, or is it stimulated by a specific activity? It doesn't sound like hemorrhoids to me, but I can't tell from the information provided. You should see your GP, he'll be able to refer you to the specialist you need.

I don't understand the "torn" skin above your anus. Could you elaborate? If you have pain in that area, eat plenty of fibre, drink plenty of water, have a warm bath and wear loose clothing. The most important thing to do is to relax and call your doctor to ask for advice. I'm no pharmacist, but I'd recommend you take some kind of painkiller - aspirin or paracetamol.
