To answer your question, no. Rubber bands are used for internal hemorrhoids.Some diets that you can do is to increase your water and fiber intakes. Taking warm water baths for about 15 mins a day will also help. Not that I am aware of. Usually external hemorrhoids will respond well to creams, ointments and change in diet. Hope that helps.
