Oh no, you heard wrong,,,,, raw bacon fat is good for boils. the fat softens the skin and the salt draws the infection toward the surface, I think the only treatment for hemmoroids is ice, YIKES!

Reputable sources say that it works only if you use a knitting needle and gently push said pork product gently up the rectum, so it nudges the hemorrhoid and cozies up to it.
